When I first went to see Dr VanderGulik, I was in such excruciating pain. I could not put any pressure on my foot without crying. I tried to walk but could not. My husband got me a wheelchair to take me anywhere. I started seeing Dr VanderGulik and he checked my heel, massaged it and gave me exercises to do at home. On the third visit, he requested that I stay off my feet for a few weeks and this really helped. Now, I can walk with no pain at all. If anyone ever needs a foot doctor, I truly recommend Dr VanderGulik.

Dr. VanderGulik’s office got me in asap due to the severity of an infected ingrown toenail that an ER didn’t fix properly several days earlier.
Once I arrived, everyone was very friendly, caring and made me feel like I mattered.
Once the nurse got me to a room, Dr. VanderGulik came in and was very professional. He looked at my infected toe & immediately explained what needed to happen, to keep this from happening again. I was a little overwhelmed because I have anxiety but he & his nurse were very reassuring and understanding given my situation and quickly put me at ease.
I must say the entire experience was outstanding and I didn’t feel any pain during the procedure or afterwards!
He and his nurse explained very thoroughly how to manage/treat once I was at home. They also called in the correct antibiotics and pain/anti-inflammatory medications.
He set up a follow appointment for two weeks and I was on my way.
If you have any foot issues and are thinking about going to an ER vs seeing a podiatrist…Call and see DR. IAN VANDERGULIK! Take it from someone who learned the hard way…You will be thankful you have the outstanding and knowledgeable

Doctor fish was excellent. He was very professional, excellent assessment of my feet, he didn't rush into wanting to do surgery right away. He explained his assessment very thorough And explained what I was doing wrong. He did recommend some things that I should do to subside some of the from my feet.

My appointment was at 2:00pm.
The Scribe for Dr. Fish took me in to the exam room as soon as I got there. Doctor Fish came in at 2:00, and took care of my foot, explaining what the problem was and then took care of it. Thank you for your professionalism and kindness.
