The entire visit was pleasant, all staff were very caring. Dr. Fish was very polite and was able to address all my issues with my left foot. I explained that I had seen two other podiatrists but the ingrown toenails kept coming back and it was painful. In my case, I had heart surgery and I was worried about bleeding. Dr. Fish explained everything he was going to do and his treatment would stop the ingrown nails from coming back. Being a diabetic it’s good to know that Dr. Fish is a good doctor, and works hard to help his patients heal.

When I first went to see Dr VanderGulik, I was in such excruciating pain. I could not put any pressure on my foot without crying. I tried to walk but could not. My husband got me a wheelchair to take me anywhere. I started seeing Dr VanderGulik and he checked my heel, massaged it and gave me exercises to do at home. On the third visit, he requested that I stay off my feet for a few weeks and this really helped. Now, I can walk with no pain at all. Dr. VanderGulik’s office got me in asap due to the severity of an infected ingrown toenail that an ER didn’t fix properly several days earlier.
Once I arrived, everyone was very friendly, caring and made me feel like I mattered.
Once the nurse got me to a room, Dr. VanderGulik came in and was very professional. He looked at my infected toe & immediately explained what needed to happen, to keep this from happening again. I was a little overwhelmed because I have anxiety but he & his nurse were very reassuring and understanding given my situation and quickly put me at ease.
I must say the entire experience was outstanding and I didn’t feel any pain during the procedure or afterwards!
He and his nurse explained very thoroughly how to manage/treat once I was at home. They also called in the correct antibiotics and pain/anti-inflammatory medications.
He set up a follow appointment for two weeks and I was on my way.
If you have any foot issues and are thinking about going to an ER vs seeing a podiatrist…Call and see DR. IAN VANDERGULIK! Take it from someone who learned the hard way…You will be thankful you have the outstanding and knowledgeable

I had one of my big toes operated on today so far it doesn’t even hurt and it’s been about 6 hours. So far it still feels better now than it did when I went to the doctors office this morning. Dr. Fish is a really good podiatrist. If you need to see a podiatrist he’s the guy you need to go see.
